From cozy comfort food to fancy soirées, fall is just screaming for decadent feasting. With days getting shorter and weather shifting to cooler temperatures, it is only natural to want to warm up at a table overflowing with laughter and a delicious spread.

October is, without a doubt, the beginning of hosting season. With halloween just around the corner and all of the mandatory celebrations approaching at an alarming rate, the hosting pressures are mounting. And we are all going down Pinterest rabbit holes looking for easy and chic ways to entertain for the holidays. Cheese plate? Love it, but let’s maybe mix it up for once. Roasted chicken and assorted veggies? Been there, done that. Prime rib and mashed potatoes? Yep, had that that at so-and-so’s house last week. Caviar and waffles? Oh la la! Yes please!

Shake up holiday hosting with an unexpected spread. Pair a breakfast staple with a luxury treat and a few seasonal side dishes, et voila, you have a night that everyone will be dreaming about for a lifetime of parties to come. Simply put… Waffles are the new hero of caviar!

This concept also works beautifully without the caviar. Serve a tower of waffles alongside gourmet toppings in leu of the caviar splurge. Waffles with brie, fig jam and some artisan bacon sound like absolute perfection. Or perhaps ROE smoked salmon with all the delicious salmon-y accoutrement! Xx

*We started the evening with a sweet vermouth cocktail followed by a beautiful champagne to pair perfectly with the caviar and other delicious wines throughout the feast*
